update!

Okay so I am trying to blog more but not a lot happens to me and I never have cute pictures of what has happened. but anyway, Thanks for voting everyone the Aviary got the money that it desperately needed! and so did the Zoo! I was so afriad that they wouldn't get it because they couldn't advertise like the zoo did. So hurray it gets to stay and improve the buildings and build a new area for the park!
Also I forgot to tell you who won on Project Runway! (I know you were all dying to know) well...... Leann won! yahooooo! I was so happy. Her collection was really the best. Koto's collection was really pretty but a little plain. and Leann was the only one that shorts, pants, skirts, dresses, and shirts. the others just had dresses and skirts.
Oh and another thing! Does anyone know how to get a life? Cause my mom says that if I don't get one soon she is going to kick me out of the house. I am pretty sure that she was joking and just trying to scare me but I better be safe then sorry. But I don't really know what getting a life entails? I have some friends and we go out and I go to school and I have a job. so what more am I to do? I guess she wants me to get married but ....... I don't know any guys. like I am not joking I don't know any guys that aren't married or engaged. I know I know go to the singles ward. but they really aren't so nice to people that are ugly you know? so that is out but if you have any ideas for unattractive people I would really love to hear them! but I don't think anyone reads this so I don't think there will be to many Ideas. but I had fun blogging!

Save Tracy Aviary

PLEASE HELP! For all that is good and holy you must help. On Election day You must vote for Proposition 1. Tracy Aviary is the largest and oldest Aviary in the nation and the only one west of the Mississippi! This place is one of my favorite places to go. I love birds! They are interesting and beautiful. Its a great place for kids to take field trips and you learn so much while you are there. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding buildings are falling apart and are short of staff. Please this place means so much to me and the history of Utah and to all the birds that call it home. If you vote yes they have all sorts of new exhibits they want to add. Now I know you are thinking well they have birds at the zoo. Well not like this. They have birds that are native to Utah and South America. This place is also a bird rescue, there is a bald eagle there that has had its wing shoot off by a hunter and can no longer fly. They saved him and brought him back to health. I have seen this bird and it is Hugh!!! One of the most beautiful birds you will ever see! Plus they have this cool thing, where you can go and feed the parrots and they all flock to you at once! It was the coolest thing ever, having those cute birds all over me and to see them up close, they were nice and didn't really bite(but I am used to bird bites from my cockatail). They also have bird shows that show the tricks they have learned and why birds do things the way they do. Its a great place for a family outing! Little kids will love it. Trust me, I know!

Project No way!

So I love watching reality TV shows! and one of my favorite shows is Project Runway. My sister made we watch an episode with her half way into the second season. I loved it! It was a show about how creative and different people could be with fashion. Now I am not anyone that knows a lot about fashion, but I did take a fashion design class in high school and I must say a lot of people like what I came up with.

Anyway the Fifth season of Project Runway is coming to a close and I hate everyone left! Its so sad but no one is very strong and all of their type of style is lame. Let me just go through and explain my thought process to you before you get all mad at me.

First let's start with the one that I least hate. (don't worry there is only four people left on the show)

This is Leanne

Leanne believe it or not is from California, I think she is the sweetest out of all the people this season and has a nice smile but really, if she is going to be a fashion designer, DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR HAIR! I mean in this picture it looks like she at least tried to do something to it but really sweetie the bangs are so ugly on you, and it looks like you have thin hair like mine and you could really use the extra hair. Man also those old lady glasses have to go. Ever heard of contacts? oh back to fashion, I think Leanne has won at least one challenge so far, and has really come along way from this.......

She has really improved but like on that shiny brown dress she likes to put weird shapes on this. hopefully she will listen to Tim Gunn when he says its to much.

Now he is a little more then I can handle sometimes but he too has improved but I hate everything he has put out. And for some reason he keeps winning. It just blows my mind. I wonder if the TV is distorting what I am seeing really badly because his designs are tacky and, for a nice word, Gross. Here are some designs that either won or came in a close second.

Ok see I have a big problem with the one on the right. (your right not my right, work with me people) because it is a girl who just graduated from college and is going out into the world to find a job, so the Mother wanted to give them a makeover. First of all the dress is to short to be wearing at a place of business, the color is so boring, he has a weird leafy mesh thing under the cami that bugs me and is that or is that not a mullet? Can I just not see right? do I need new contacts? I just don't think its cute at all! She also looks like her arms were glued to her sides. On a lighter note she has nice legs!

Oh and I threw this in because I think it is soo funny! The challenge was to make an outfit for the Athletes when they walk in the stadium at the Olympics. Now I don't know about you but that just SCREAMS American Athlete. Don't you think? I mean seriously. seriously?

Ok now here are the winners that Have gone and made me blog. the ones that I can't stand!

Now she has some really good designs, and can make a great dress but Man! is she whinny and mean! She always talks behind peoples backs about how she should win and she is so awesome and she really is the best ever! Goodness if she could marry her designs she would! And with all that she has this awful mono-tone voice that has an annoying scratchy sound that makes the hairs on my neck stand up. uuugghhhh! so really I think she should be in the top three to go to Bryant Park, I just hate her personality. like a lot.

The Fourth and last person that I have really come to hate IS..................KENLEY!

Words cannot express the hate I have for her. I hate her so much... it-it- the f - it -flam - flames. Flames, on the side of my face, breathing-breaths- heaving breaths. Heaving breath... (love that show). She is so mean and snotty. She laughs all the time and not in a cute way, and she said that another designer was her friend and when he said that he had great taste (which he didn't that's

why he is no longer on the show) to the judges, she laughed at him! What kind of a friend does that? and She thinks that her taste is Fabulous and man is she way off!

So this challenge was to make an outfit out of car parts and to


be creative. So she made the vest out of leather from the seat


and the belt from a seat belt, and I think the white is out of


some other fabric, I really don't know. but the little tutu thing is


air filters that she decided to draw a zebra print on. yuck.


I just hate that air filter I think it would be a cute design if she

didn't have a zebra print tutu around her waist. is that really to


much to ask that she take that off?

Oh this one she had to team up with another designer that was kicked off

and they had to do a design that went with the sign Aquarius. Let me ask


you, do you see Aquarius in this design? Cause to me this poor model looks

like a giant bow standing in a flower bed. And she was mad that she was in

the bottom three. you have got to be kidding me. Tasty? I think not.

And Last, this is her interpretation of Hip Hop Style. Wow.

When Tim came in and told her he thought it didn't look at all like Hip Hop,

she got all up ons, and freaked out and said that Tim had no idea what Hip

Hop was. I was so mad. "You can't talk to Tim Gunn that way!" I yelled at

the TV screen. It was also funny that they other designers were like "she is

suppose to be doing Hip Hop but I don't know what that is." but know one

was really willing to step forward and say that. But still she missed the mark again and she is still

on the show. If she wins the whole show I might just pull my hair out. I really will.

New Job

I seem to be the type of person that really can't stay in one spot to long. As is true with the places I have worked. To me it seems that not a lot of people my age have changed jobs all that much but for me it is a way of life. I have worked at a bakery with a mean boss that cut hours and stood over me for most of the day telling me I was doing things wrong, and yelling at me in front of my co-works at a company lunch. so I found a job at Joanns Fabric. it was a cut in pay but the hours were good and the people were nice. Plus I got to work with one of my friends. it was awesome! for a time.... then they deiced that they were going to close the store and open up a giant one on redwood. so I helped close that store and was moved to the giant store. long story short they didn't like the way I liked to read when there were no customers around so they gave me stupid little jobs and to keep me busy and the boss thought I was a trouble maker. so I left and went to target to work with my best friend to be a photographer of little child. At first it was OK the child were hard to deal with and pleasing parents was non-existent but it has its ups and downs. but i worked every Sunday when no one else had too. because my friend got permission that she didn't have to work on Sundays or she would have quit and she took the best pictures so I see why they did it. but I was the only one out of five people to work on Sundays! Plus other locations would call and tell you they needed you down in Centerville that day and if you couldn't do it, then you would have to call and find someone your self. it was pretty stupid. so I went to be a receptionist at a construction supply company and let me tell you that was not an easy job. five months into I was layed off because they said they wanted someone full time and I was going to school. they gave me a 50 dollar bonus and sent me packing. Then my sister found a job for me in the parking services of a college. now the longest I have stayed at a job was close to a year. well I stayed at Parking for nearly three years. and I loved the people I got to work with and we had fun there, but I was so sick of students and parents yelling at me in person and over the phone, I had to get out.
I have been at my new job for about three weeks now. It is a job still on the campus but in a different building and department. let me tell you the first weeks have not been easy.
The first day I was early (good sign right?) and I walked over to the door and it was... locked! I couldn't see anyone through the blinds and it was all dark. so I am standing there not knowing what to do and its my first day and I am scared out of my mind. Finally the lady who had interviewed me came and told me she was the one training me. well after meeting a whole lot of people and a few hours of training on the computer, my boss says "oh by the way I have a meeting today for two hours and you will be here by your self." ******WHAT?***** I am thinking, you got to be freaking kidding me! but everything was fine and no one needed my help for those two hours anyway. Then when she comes back she said "oh and another thing I am going on vacation and won't be back until Tuesday." my mouth dropped to the floor. I just stood there sputtering thinking "why, why, why why,.... you can't leave me! I am so not good at learning things through osmosis!". yes it was the week of July 4Th but come on people! you can't just throw a chicken in a pen of wolves and expect it to live! Plus I didn't have a key. I knew something bad was going to happen. Cause I am Summer and that's the way life goes for me. Something bad must always happen, its the rule and I am trying to learn to live with it, but sometimes I wish I could break it into a million pieces and run away.
Okay so the first week was pretty quite and some of the people in the office would ask me questions and I didn't know what they were talking about but that was OK. they understood.
Finally when Tuesday comes around again, my boss finally started training me on the important stuff. well it was so important it took half the day and she said" well it looks like I don't have to come back tomorrow!"
oh hurray for you! lucky for me I was kind of getting the swing of how this place operates and I finally had a key to the door!
For right now I am still unsure of the next step and Fall semester is just around the corner and I can feel the shadow of it luming over head.
but I guess that can be the story for my next post

Ha Ha Ha Wipeout!

So last night I was channel surfing hoping to find something new and exciting since most of the shows are all reruns I wasn't putting out much hope. But lucky for me I found something! Its this new show on ABC that is called Wipeout. Its a reality TV show where people have to try to have the best time on an obstacle course. Now let me tell you that these courses are not running around tires and just climbing a wall. its basically a course on water and mud and is almost impossible to do perfectly. and let me tell you it is the funniest thing I have ever seen!!!! I was laughing so hard that I was crying. They have these giant red balls that you have to jump on one at a time and no one ever got passed the second one.
Now people falling is some what funny but what really makes the show is the commentators. they have the funniest things to say about these crazy people. and when they watch things in slow motion. they draw pictures that just up the comedy a thousand times!
So watch it! its on Tuesday nights. you will not regret it.

One year older and not so much wiser

Today I am 23. Yes I know I don't look it and some people close to me might say I don't act it, but there is no getting passed it. Nature makes me 23. And as a friend reminded me, on this day, five years ago I graduated from High School. I remember after graduation how I had felt like my life was over. I had no idea what to do next or where I should go. Five years later, I still don't have any freaken' idea what to do with myself!!!!!!! When I was little I never thought about what I would be when I grew up. I always just figured that High school was the end that I guess I would just died after that. or something cool would happen anyway. I guess I was a crazy little kid and was dropped on my head one to many times from climbing on crap all the time. cause I never thought of my future. now that its here, I want nothing to do with it. if you knew me you might understand a tiny bit what I am talking about.(then again maybe not). Its just nothing I have ever done turns out. I am so used to failure my mom has started calling me that by accident. and when something starts to work I give up because its to good to be true.
anyway five years later I just don't want to try. I feel like I am empty and lost and not sure how people can do this! how as a human race have we made it this far!!!! I just don't understand it!
anyway its my brithday and I still have no idea what to do with myself.
